Four Bones Jazz Combo feat. Gereben Zita

FourBones Quartet, Gereben Zita, Horváth "Tojás" Gábor, Gálfi Attila, Farkas Norbert

The Four Bones Trombone Quartet was formed in 2002. The members are truly committed to their elegant and special instruments.

With background in classical music, the quartet has been engaged with a wide variety of musical styles from modern contemporary to jazz.

In the past couple of years, Four Bones became a unique and particular formation and it deservedly gained a great recognition in Hungary.

The four ear catching trombones were joined by Zita Gereben, a wonderful vocalist, and by an outstanding jazz trio of a pianist, a percussionist, and a double-bass player.

In addition to well-known and popular jazz standards, the repertoire consists of the quartet’s own compositions inspired by nu jazz.

The formation has performed in all of the major Hungarian concert halls, moreover, it has been invited to several festivals and musical events.

Among others, in January, 2008 they gave a very successful concert in Austria.
